Great subject, I have to do one this year as well so I will be paying close attention.

FYI No.1, the March issue of Flypast or Aeroplane (can't remember which one) has a nice article on the Stirling if you are looking for extra material. A forgotten airplane, no examples exist today, it will be great to see your work bring it back to life.

This one will be the Mk.IV, used as glider tug during the Market Garden operation :-)

If I were a billionaire one of the first things I'd do is resurrect a Stirling to airworthy, from scratch if necessary! The airplane's performance may have been less than the Halifax and Lancaster but I really find the Stirling fascinating, especially that undercarriage!

With a patched-up, taped-up forward fuselage, also!  :-cool
