Great subject, I have to do one this year as well so I will be paying close attention.
FYI No.1, the March issue of Flypast or Aeroplane (can't remember which one) has a nice article on the Stirling if you are looking for extra material. A forgotten airplane, no examples exist today, it will be great to see your work bring it back to life.
-
This one will be the Mk.IV, used as glider tug during the Market Garden operation :-)
-
If I were a billionaire one of the first things I'd do is resurrect a Stirling to airworthy, from scratch if necessary! The airplane's performance may have been less than the Halifax and Lancaster but I really find the Stirling fascinating, especially that undercarriage!

One captured Stirling flew in Luftwaffe markings!

Thank you friends for your nice and interesting comments. I take some more time to work on this machine and here you are now with panels and some bolts... mo' work tomorrow ;)
