There is few more samples to be made before start work on full new layout for model XIX. This have to be set as soon as possible, due to the planed orders and magazines.

Early conversion of the PR.IX to PR.XI had the rounded tail

This was a PR.IX that first flow in Dec 1942, it was transferred to No.1 PRU at Benson for conversion to a PR.XI and was delivered to 541 Sqn in Oct 1943 with its original tail. later models had the high tail. For info, only 16 PR.IX was built.
