The Dove was not only used by civilian operators, but also by military. Royal Navy in the UK had a number on their inventory and the Dove exhibited at Aviodrome is one of these machines.
The Schiphol based Dove was also used by Martin Air Charter for short flights over the Amsterdam area in the early sixties flown by Martin Schröder; later CEO of Martinair! Cost of flight was Dfl 12,50 (some 5.5 Euro) but with a coupon from the magazine 'Cockpit' you could make this flight for only Dfl 10. Photo shows Dove PH-MAD at Hangar no. 6 at the side platform of Schiphol. I took this shot in late spring 1961 with my Agfa Clack 6 x 9 cm camera. Flight was a birthday present from my parents.
