Here is my first ever profile. This is the first time I use PS and corel draw.I used corel draw to make the panel lines and the whole shape in just 2 hours.Than I used PS cs5 to paint the aircraft.I have never used such software before.I still have much to learn. Now I would like to ask something.I simply have no idea how to make the weathering of the aircraft.I already added a little filter on the sand and light green layers and I don't really like the final result. It is a little messy.I followed Srecko's tutorial for basic ilustration but still I can not quite understand the thing about the shadows light and weathering. For now I add this pic of the unfinished profile.
Happy new year to all of you.

I am impressed. :-eek :-eek
For the first time is more than excellent. :-clap :-clap :-clap
And I thought to start to draw a profile, to practice. But I think that it will remain for my summer holiday, when I have more time. We will see how this will turn out! :-ok
You forgot one important thing, and that the signature or watermark. :-razz :-joke :))
That you have to come up with. :-joke :-joke :))
Ps.Happy new year! :-flo :-tri

Thanks guys :) I am still learning this. Now lets wait for the ultimate master of profiles No.1 and his comment :)

Excellent fro the very start and I think that I have to rework my instruction about illustrating in PS...
-
Thanks No.1.Any suggestions about the shadows and light on the AC?
-
You have to do them in regards to the real plane. First make vertical, then fuselage, engine and finally wing and horizontal tail
-
I'll try to do this using your instructions in the tutorial.I may have made a slight mistake during the build proces.I only painted the wing as a different selection.the rest is a single selection using layers for each color.
-
This can be rework with easy, don't worry
-
I managed to tone the colors a little bit more.I added the markings and all I have to do now is to draw all of the service markings and than I could go to the shading and some shadows making.
-
Nice update. :-flo :-clap :-clap

This is a good start, keep going. You will learn as you go along.

here is the sukhoi with some service markings aplied.I managed to write all of those in russian.I still have much to do before the sahding chipping and shadowing of the profile.
-
You can delete layer with shadow, I will guide you how to start it again
-
I still have no layer with shadows and fading.I am now considering some options for shading the lighter green and dark green color.I would like to make some worn and torn effects of faded paint. Now I realised I forgot something very important. The weapons wing pylons that I forgot to draw in corel becose I used a drawing with no pylons.I would have to draw those as a single layer in order to paint them(they are camoflagued like the rest of the aircraf.I was just reading your tutorial and I saw that you are redrawing the panel lines again.I don't think I am fit to do this i PS like I can in corel.
-
Here is a little practice with shadows and highlights.I know they are not so real but I thought I could show you this.
-
Nice,nice,nice...I like it!!!!
-
