Yes, really big one with many small details on its construction (this will be subject of following work on profile layout). Now the rivets are completed and will go to full adopt to version I plan to do, there is variation even with types with same designations.

Now work on shadows, decide to skip small details in the moment, this will be add later. What is not visible in this image is that I have split and separated crew cockpit transparencies from gun portion transparencies, it is now better for set up in future art work.

It's interesting that you are doing the PBM-5A version first, as this happens to be the only intact version still in existence (at least above water). The survivor is being slowly restored at Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Arizona.

The Netherlands ended up with almost half of the entire production of the amphibious version, 15 of the 36 built (and 4 others converted later from true seaplanes).

Can't wait to see the final product, and thanks too to Nico for the photo!

I don't have any exact information on the four conversions, No.1, but I'd assume they looked much like the production amphibians.

I really must go through my files to find a couple of pictures I took of the lone survivor in 1989. It looks much better today than it did then!
