Hark!
Is there some residual yellow IFF left from a previous "computer skin" on  the wing leading edge?
Do my eyes deceive me?
TIA,
David

OOOPS...
Nakajima built A6M2s had white surrounds to hinomaru...
and Tainan flew Mitsubishi (no surround) when the tail codes were white...
Hope this helps...
Cheers,
David

I can vaguely remember to have read somewhere that Saburo Sakai flew in a Zero with radio mast sawn off and that he led his team by hand-signalling.

I know that Nishizawa have removed aerial must, it will be interesting if the Sakai machine have the same feature.
