I do understand G-1, I also laughed on the "wrong canvas" issue :-smey
Doesn't matter, my friend, you might make another similar canvas for Gnat, and this one progresses quite nicely :-ok

True, this series of painting are specific by abstract background and focus is given to the aircraft. One of next painting which coming will be Dutch F-104 Starfighter and it will be painted in low level pass over Kinderdijk, area in Netherlands well known by windmills. And windmills as well rivers (???) will be clearly visible.

I make advanced progress on fuselage, forget about strong white lines, they will lost intensity in later work on details.

This machine is stronger now as well it have struts and landing gear :)

Shouldn't the pilot be looking towards another plane, as if they were doing a mock dog fight?

As I know pilot look all around, don't have frozen view in one direction. I will also look at that clouds bellow ;)
