I think that you have used a little more Outer Glow Style of the layer with panels... but this could be fit off course ;)

Much better. One detail- it look like that panel layer is under the layer with shadow. make a copy of the panel layer, move it above shadow layers and delete style. Will see ;)

It look's great,it's more realistic now.
Have you noticed missing panel on drop tank pylon and part of wing antenna on this new improved profile?
 :-wave

P.S sorry but didn't know how to explain what I wanted to tell.
Will remove them as soon as you see this, just tell

Santino- illustrators theory state that as the object is far away it is darked. So lets see the wings- you have identical value of the illumination and lightest from the wing tips to the bottom under the fuselage. You have to made that as going deeper this become darker. Also- do not forget that you also have influence of the direct light so leading edge will have flash of light so composed with the deep shadow it give full illusion of the wing. See my art of this airplane or any from the series I uploaded right now.

One detail- I have seen many arts, including profession published in books and magazines. Many of them suffer from this method of illumination as well distortion of the shapes like the under wing insignia. Or they go into the total deep shadow all over the bottom wing. Must include also third source of light- bottom light. See for example Bf109G with Italian marking. It have patches in Italian color at the bottom of the wing and this have a very little tint of the desert yellow color. This is illumination and reflection of the area under the airplane. And this give life.

Don't listen to me- see some of the master painting of the great artist Caravaggio... you have everything there. Just apply on aircraft.
