Sorry no.1, but it must be Das Boot!
CM#IV is one of the machines built during the war by Aviolanda at Papendrecht, the Netherlands. It was operated by KFlGr.3/106 based at Schellingwoude near Amsterdam. Plane was damaged on 23 Aug 1943 and finally sunk during a rescue operation of two Britisch pilots, but not before crew was picked up by two other Do-24's and a 'Schnellboot'.
(Reference: 'Dornier Do-24' by Pieter van Wijngaarden and Prudent Staal;1992 Bonneville Publishers-Bergen, the Netherlands.).

Hi mates,  :-salut

What a surprise and what a beautiful profile !
The French Navy used several Do 24s after the war. This plane had been produced in France during the war (54) for Germany and after the war 40 other Do 24 Ts were built by Nord-Aviation, the first nines with parts in stock. Contrary to what is often believed no captured German Do 24 at all was used by France after the war.

Cheers,

Jicehem  :-wave

Hi Srecko,
I notice you have added the older style of the midupper turret - the Dutch Do-24 actually had the round variant you used on the Luftwaffe T variant, with 20 mm cannon.

Ha ha- I have this version and then deleted it... all right, I will change it again, I have few excellent high resolution images and problem could be solved.

New progress as well two extract from images where is shown different turret. There is two types (as well some with removed) of turrets and after completing of this layout, I will make another one, this will give more options for work.

 :-ok

Here is another picture showing the edges of the dark bluegrey uppersurface

I'm actually starting to think both the old and new style midupper turrets were used ...

Thank you for this, good to see variations of the border line ;) No problem about the turret, color profile will be adopted to the specific subject

Here are two examples of pre-war X-boats as the Do-24's were called.
Catalina's carried Y marking and was consequently called the Y-boat.

Nice pictures Nico - at first I thought the color picture was a model :-)
Also interesting to see the bombshackles - six per wing?
