I have look it closer. You are on basic step of full color art. Now you are step on the hard road- you have to fight with details. This is essential for giving a life to your creation. Here you are extract from color profile of Fw190D. You will se much of details and please study this. Note that some parts with more curvature are more dynamic highlighted.

Any way- if I could be an editor of magazine I will for sure take your profile of PRU Mosquito for publishing. So head up and strait ahead- you are on good way :) :)

To tell you a secret- I have watch and study a details of the great art painter. My basic intention to make stroke over which look like brush stroke. Don't like smoth stroke of airbrush.

wow your work is wonderful as well :)
I like so much your Fw190D (I like all Fw190 family)

what do you do for making all the rivets on the plane?

I have seen mfg495's site which I found very interesting. If you want to use my DH Mosquito P.R.Mk1, please

This is part of the three color profiles published in the UK this month.

Rivets have special treatment. I will prepare small add about this subject.

Base for good artowrk is size. Work with A3 form landscape orientation. Form TIFF with LZW compression. If you prepare all like this all will be easy to do.

From Corel you have to export following layers:

- rivets
- cockpit
-panels
-acces door
-external details like guns, pod's...

Then you have all for later creating of one layers. I call this layer sfumato and as well you are Italian you know veru well what does it mean. As you note you have to make a number of yayers and some of them have to be merged before flatt. Note- merged first, this is very important expecialy if you have layer with add style or behaviors. If you just flat it it will disturb phisics of the lower layer.

Santino- here you are one detail of bolt and panel line. Direction of light coming from left top. In this way edge are highlighted or shadowed. And this is basic. Lines are almost black. When you create one bolt in its own layer the make a copy and couple of hundred paste and move to the place. Move tool you call with V on keyboard and transform is Ctrl T as you know. It is not hard to do but it is boring as well each nut have to come in its own place and transform to fit into the shape and view. Note detail of color ruining- this is normal in exploatation and this you add in the layer bellow nuts, bolts and panels.

For nuts and rivets I spant day. As I saud- to create basic layers you need from week to ten days. My personal record is one morning from zero to final color profile. Regulary can be made in three days but be sure in week you can manage full material. After that you just arrange layers and make a tons of new color profile.

Fiat G.12.... you plan it for here maybe :)
