the profile is one Dewoitine D520 N°139 this aircraft was dammaget at Douala airport Cameroun 1940

Beautiful drawings - well done. The D 520 is one of my favourite aircraft (did anyone see my feature article on the D 520 in the September 2004 'Scale Aircraft Modelling' - probably not, no one ever reads my articles!). I also helped out with the Mushroom book on the D 520 but received no credit from the publisher. Nevertheless I still like the D 520 . . .

Hi all 

I just finish one new D520 the N°277 with the markings worn in Syria, this aircraft was destroyed in air combat with RAF Gladiator at 15 jun 1941

I think that first one will be the German sample and later continue on Italian planes as well French origin. But before of this here it is one document  of one combat against B-17 in July 1943.

If the document can be redeable I can traslate what the report say...

today I make one new D520 flown by Regia Aeronautica Italiana (Royal Itailan Airforce) is One D520 of 164a Squadriglia 161° Gruppo at Regio Calabria during september 1943
