What do you think about the size of fuselage registration numbers?

In my opinion they are a bit over sized, what do think?

Maybe but this can be set later in precise position. Now you are going to work on shadows?

I'm planing to work the fuse panels like the machine guns, m.g. acsses panels and so on
and then, put the markings  and after these finished the shadows
because they will influence also the the markings

Felixdk,

I have a question for you concerning the Sabre F86 A

Please have a look at the attached image, you can see a round red circle surrounding what I presume to be a metal plate fixed to the aircraft nose with rivets,
I'm assuming correctly or this "metal plate" is made out in any other material?

You help on this would be appreciated

Metar,

The original F-86As had the entire intake surround made of fibreglass, which was usually left unpainted and appears as a buff color in photos.  Later F-86As switched to a formed metal surround with a dielectric panel covering the gun ranging radar.  That panel was usually a dark gray/black color and was secured in place by a metal band (which is what your arrow points to) secured with removable fasteners.

Felixdk,

Profile Publications about the Sabre F86A states that the third batch serialled 48-129 to 48-316 were delivered between March 1949 and ended in September the same year

Now I think that Sabre F86A with register NÂș FU-129 "Lady Luck" is included in this group, (correct me if I'm  wrong).
My question to you is about the use of fiber glass parts what would be the parts in fiber glass in such aircraft?

I regret to bother you with this question but unfortunately I didn't found any photos of this aircraft.
