Excellent images  :-eek  :-tri Yours, isn't it  :-clap Please tell us more about the events and planes show on them if you know.

Not a great deal of info, these came from another forum I'm a member of, anyway the top image was a 109F used by 80 Squadron coded 'EY'

The other image is a 109G with the RAF serial RN288

Other 109's in RAF colours :-

2 x 109 E (AE479 and DG200)
2 x 109 F (ES409 and NN644)
1x 109 G-2 (RN228)
2x 109G-6 (TP184 and VX101)
2x 109 G-14 (VD358 and VD364)

Here's one I do have Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6/U2 (TP814 c/n 412951).
Photographed at Air Fighting Development Unit, Duxford, England, UK, 1941-42.
The print was given to me by a friend who's father took the photo during his service career at Duxford.

As soon as you find the image in book I will make one profile. Is this something personally important to you? To be honest, I never dare to ask you, but as well you are German did any of your cousin serve in Luftwaffe? As well mein tante ist Deutch and I know she don't like to mention WW2 at all.

Only my local historical and technical interest. As you might know an Airbase of JG26 was in Köln-Ostheim. This is 3 minutes from where i live now. I first heard about this in the Biographical book about Ritter von Schleich by Darren Whiteside. I know this is a sensitive topic in Germany and not a many people i know are interested in WWII aviation history for obvious reasons.
