Back to the roots
« on: January 23, 2007, 04:48:05 PM »
In the 1990 I have made my first step in making of color illustration. Periodicaly I have made some art and few years later first are published in one book. I have to said that work with brush is the greatest experience which you can have. Thanks to this today I can manage my brushes in Photoshop and make color art more realistic.

Now I am decide to back to the roots. Few day's before I have start my new classic paint and this will be winter idle with Fokker triplane on it. Image show the allready made background lanscape and moment when I finish the sketch of the Fokker Dr.I.

                                                                                 ... will be continued...

Thank you all for your kind words  :-razz Must say that it is real pleasure both painting on canvas as well on screen and experience from both could be of use and interchanged. Most important for this art- I make up my mind and know what I will paint. This will be plane of Lt. Werner from Jasta 14... nice, shiny and clean. Thank you Terry P. for this nice images which are of great help for this art  :-wave

In this moment airplane get lilac and red area's on the rear fuselage and it is let drying. Major change was made in the subject and I have final decision to make airplane flown by Lt. Rudolf Stark from Jasta 11. His plane was WN 1858 and it is specific that it was not illustrated before. So this will be first art appearance of this plane.
