Progress in this moment

It looks great! It's been quite a few years since I've created any new profiles but I have been thinking about it a lot lately, your work is definitely inspiring!

One more sample ;)

I know this was posted years ago but I am not sure how I missed this one, but this is fantastic!

Quite possibly the best profile I have ever seen!

Warplane Art / Printing Artwork question
« on: May 19, 2020, 01:30:00 AM »
Hello everyone,

After a lengthy hiatus from profiling i am getting back into it.

I have a person requesting a custom profile print, I was just wondering if you ever print your work for framing? If so is ti just a laser print or is there some other method I should be looking at?

Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Matt

So, after basic development of E version, I switch to the F-1 model, used as reconnaissance missions. Hard work on radar systems, not much photos and not reliable drawings.

Looks great No.1 !

I greatly appreciate any line drawings or other reference material. This will be the first profile I have done where I have not had access to an actual aircraft to compare things to. No examples of the Stirling remain so this should be fun.

Great story and even better color profile!

Thanks No.1. Up next for me is the Short Stirling,  do you know where I can find reference drawings?

Finally completed my first profile of the lanc.

This one is an example from 57 Squadron, the rear gunner on this aircraft was my father's cousin.

This lanc crashed November 6/7 while returning from a mining operation. It ran out of gas near Cowsden, U.K and
the entire crew was forced to bale out. All of theh crew survived and flew again together, successfully completing
their tour of operations.

Finally finished, the small details took longer than I thought as there were more than I expected.

Next up individual weathered machines....

Progress in 2.5 hours :))

Unbelievable that you can produce something so good that fast, well done!

Now that I have finished th rest of the turrets and the tailwheel, I am back to where I was when I lost my work. I can't say its fun doing most of it all over again, but I am probably 90% complete now.

Hello to all and happy new year!

I have been working on this profile for nearly two years. This past summer I was about 80% finished when I lost the file I was working on and didn't have an up to date back up. This was the most catastrophic file loss I have ever had, I lost about 20 hours worth of work, all the turret and cockpit details had to be recreated and that is a very time consuming part of the project.

However, i am now back to where I was in the summer so I thought I'd post my progress. I intend to ramp up my profiling this year.

Nice job no.1, any history on this particular example?
