Nice pictures Nico - at first I thought the color picture was a model :-)
Also interesting to see the bombshackles - six per wing?

I'm actually starting to think both the old and new style midupper turrets were used ...

Hi Srecko,
I notice you have added the older style of the midupper turret - the Dutch Do-24 actually had the round variant you used on the Luftwaffe T variant, with 20 mm cannon.

Great to see the two teams together.
It was a great show! A good opportunity to compare the two teams - in my opinion, the Reds win with ease!

Hi guys, for me it's a perfect profile! I must admit, I must have pushed Srecko to the edge af insanity - the topics for Market Garden we have seen the past few weeks were far from easy!

Combat Warplanes / Oostwold 2011

I thoroughly enjoyed myself today at the bi-annual oostwold airshow.

This time, we had the honour of seeing:

3 P-51's, spiftfire, a bearcat, a seafury and a Yak 3 fighter. other aircraft were the DC-2 and several sportsplanes, Pitts, Sukhoi, Yak-52's. The Breitling team was there too, looking pretty as always!

Here are my highlights of the day;

The British didn't like the Buffalo much either. But when Dutch aircrew visited Singapore, the British were very much surprised when they flew a Dutch Buffalo. It wasn't armoured as much as the British and had greater power.

It certainly seems to be the case! But you will, as always, make a wonderful drawing out of it, I am sure of that!
