While the putty on the big cat is drying I continued the fight with my Alba 
I started to paint the national insignia, started with the white, with a slight shading
And then disaster stroke......
In the meantime the propeller is detailed up with photo - etched parts from the box and finished

And the fight continues. I glued the rest of the two hulls, well, what can I say and not to be vulgar ? See it for your self my friends......

The slow hull painting and drying is finally over so i can continue my work on the Alba. I prepared all the places for turnbuckles, fuselage and wings as well ( here I 'm showing only the fuselage ). First I marked the places to be drilled, for even distance between the holes I used 1/32 scale riveter for marking and then just drilled the holes preparing by this the place for turnbuckles.

The work on this big cat started. I started with the hull, suspension section first. It's great, with minimum plus work you can position the road wheels in any position you wish ! I didn't make any variations I just made it flat, this is how it will be fitted on my diorama.
And here comes the first surprise. When putting together the lower hull with the upper hull section you need to put two pieces of simple flat plastic between the two hulls above the track. And what did Academy ? Well the upper non visible halves of these parts are flat like glass but the visible sides have pin marks all over the surface !!
So here comes putty and sanding....
And finally I put together the two hulls. I started with the front and made a perfect connection which is amazing
and this is what I got on the rear end......
I have to let it dry for a few days before I can continue the work.....sadly....
