2) Oil wash (Abteilung 502 Brown Wash)
3) Propeller, propeller bosse and legs are in place

Pébéo matt varnish, then the masks of the canopy are removed...

...And finally the funniest part of the game: the use of pastels!

I have used Tamiya Snow on the Sky color; Tamiya Green on Dark Green; Tamiya Sand on Dark Earth ans MiG pigments "Black Smoke" for the exhausts and ammo smokes.
A drop of Citadel Colors Brown ink for the excess of oil
...And finally the antenna wires.

Finished!

That little Airfix kit is quite a good one. Not at same level than Tamiya, but very cheaper and that's a good point for him. As you see, with a cheap kit you can obtain nice results

Your comment about Airfix versus Tamiya is exactly as I've experienced with the Bf 109E in 1/48--the Airfix is very nice and inexpensive but the Tamiya is still a little better. Both good kits, though!
