Spitfire MK IX (Eduard 1/144)
« on: May 20, 2013, 10:59:15 AM »
Yes, another Spitfire!!!

My friend Frédéric Liefferinckx-Buisseret bought the 1/144 Eduard combo box; but he needed for one plane only and gived me the second one. I will build it quickly (well... Hope so!), in the French deco of the box.

Having discussed with Srecko about the Spitfire, we agreed that the group build needs to be closed now. That's why I'm opening a new topic  :))

First steps: masking the canopy (thank you Eduard to have provided masks; at that scale it is more than useful for a Spitfire!!!  :-ok :-ok :-ok ) and then airbrushing of the interior green...

Absolutely!

That's why I will not in the future continue to show my "what-if's" builds in the what-if topic I opened; each new kit will be covered on its own topic.
Simply better like that ;)

Thank you! ;)

I have masked the upper surfaces and airbrushed the dark green. Minor corrections to make, but really minor ones... And propeller is painted too.
