I like your idea with this tool but to regret I think that I can not use this method in 1/72 scale :(

Not said previously but I have also made a white primer on the wings of the Albatros Eoffag 253 of a friend of mine who haves his airbrush out of use...

Next step: base for the wood. I've used Tamiya XF-60, then oil paints will be used.
