The oldest kit...

Hi all,
The oldest kit of my collection. I built one in 1957 ! And the one on the photo has been finished in November 1995 and slightly improved only in details.
The kit is surprisingly accurate and exactly in 1/48 scale.
The modeling historians tell it was issued in 1949 by "O'Line", the first name of "Lindberg Line", a manufacturer established in 1933 but, at the time, issueing no plastic kits.
In any case, the oldest plastic kits have been issued by the British manufacturer "Frog", before WW 2.
The oldest kit...
The oldest kit...
The oldest kit...
Cheers,
Jicehem

Beautiful
and Fantastic!
You have a model of the airplane I am looking any information for. That particular airplane!
(I am studying it and I have a kit, but of later F7U-3 variant, that I intend to build).
Jicehem, do You still have the plans (color scheme) and drawings of this model?
If You have, I'll be most happy man here if You could post the scans or photos of those schemes and drawings, no matter when.
BTW, did any kit producer in the world ever released this particular airplane luckily again?
