Another set of new releases arrived from SAC today, this time with a focus on jet aircraft, and even a helicopter.

First, in 1/72 scale, is kit #72048 for the Platz and Sword T-33 kits:

Another new series of releases has come from Scale Aircraft Conversions.

In 1/144 scale is set #14408 for the supersonic transport Tu-144 by ICM.

Two offerings in 1/72, first being #72050 for the Sukhoi T-50 by both Zvezda and Revell.

Set #72049 upgrades the landing gear for the Revell Hawker Hunter.

The balance of new releases are in 1/48, the first being kit #48200. This is for the Cyberhobby/Dragon Bf-110 and this set will be used on one of my Zerstorer projects this winter.

Set #48201 for the HobbyBoss An-2 Colt.

Set #48202 is designed for the Hasegawa SH-3 Sea King.

Scale Aircraft Conversions updated product notice regarding set # 48172

  It has been brought to our attention that our replacement set # 48172 for the Great Wall TBD-1 Devastator renders the main landing gear at full extension (as do the GW parts). While this is fine for the modeller wishing to pose the completed model "in flight", it doesn't accurately depict a bird on the deck. Therefore we have altered the main gear in our set #48172 to the weighted configuration *(see photo). Anyone who purchased our original set may receive the updated set at no charge by contacting us directly at: sacmactexas@aol.com. Please include where and approximately when you purchased the set.

New offerings have arrived again from SAC for the months of January and February.

First up in 1/48 scale is 48207 for the Kinetic T-45 Goshawk. Notice the extended and compressed nose gear assemblies.
