Finally get some time to start this build. First at all I made images of all parts to have them archived. Kit is great from my point but need some experience to be build and it have some old style features like the ejection pins in the mid of the parts. Long time ago we could live with this and build great kits so it can be done now :-ok
-
Yes, those ejection pins look like they will take a fair amount of work to remove from alot of the parts, and fixing the one in the middle of the landing gear insert will be tough if it is going to be visible. Still, looks to be a decent kit though when it is all cleaned up.

:-ok
-
Very interesting subject. This time - I envy you :)
-
Thank you friends :))
-
Robot 504 missile would be nice as after-market product for this kit!!
-
Interesting that I have also think about this weapon today. I did not check out of any available product
-
If not commercially available. you could consider scratch building!
-
Maybe, will see for this :)
-
Interesting question. :-think
-
Missing detail- two gun holes at the lower side.
-
Drilled holes for gun's and painted cockpit interior parts :))
-
Not bad details for one standard kit. ;)
-
Great! Lansen is a splendid aircraft :-ok
-
Cockpit :) All instruments are placed one by one :-dal :-crazy
-
Interesting to know that SAAB had developed with success its own ejector seat!
First plane fitted with this device was SAAB J.21 twin-boom pusher fighter.
-
I have good image of seat and there will be full time job to put all belts on it (which need to be made from scratch...)
-
:-ok
-
Great progress, No.1.
Nico mentioned the SAAB ejection seat and it is another example of what a strong group of engineers and builders worked in their Aviation department. I've always admired SAAB's aircraft production and design.
-
Your cockpit is very nice Srecko! :-clap
And interesting story about Saab. I didn't know that about ejection seat! ;)
-
:))
-
Wings bottom and landing egar box completed
-
:-ok :-clap
-
Sounds like a nice but not so easy kit...
-
I am not in the element last time :(
-
Keep morale high, my friend...
-
Off course, I plan tomorrow to do all wire installation in landing gear ;) Wires are prepared and hope all will goes smooth :))
-
Wires-scratchbuild or OOB?
Can't wait to see that. ;)
-
Wires will be add by my self. And here you are result of one hour work :))
-
:-ok :-clap
-
Good progress!
-
Fine!
-
Thank you :)
-
Few more from me. Today will somehow try to make rivets and finally start work on landing gear bay
-
This will be good day for kit-rivets and wheel bay-can't wait! :-ok
-
I will make toll for rivets and as well I realized it is new I have first contact one company for possible patent ;)
-
Really?? :-eek Can we see it? :-jump :-obey
What about Trumpeter riveter that you have? :-think
-
Classic riveter make pin points and what if we need bolts so on kit need small circles? Or rounded head rivets?
-
Good progress!!!
-
Two small steps :))
-
:-ok :-clap
-
More on subject :))
-
:-ok :-clap
What about rivets and wheel bays?
-
Problem with rivets and bay will keep for very end as well they are sensitive if I put them now as I planed
-
So we will see rivets and wires later. I thought your are gave up from all that. ;)
-
Good progress...
-
Looking good!
-
Must clean and smooth surface and prepare bottom for silver spray :) Thank you for your kind attention :-ok
-
What silver you use? In spray? :-think
-
Yes
-
:-ok
-
Black phase, I check out for some surface problems and I find them.... :-wall
-
Little detail on nose ;)
-
That looks nice, the engraving seems pretty delicate in the photos.
-
Does this three circle lines need to be full circle or need to be just like in this photo? :-think
I also see some rivets there... :-think
-
Yes, there have to be engraved lines. If I dont put rivets I will crash it with hammer and rest of life spent in monastery. In the meantime here you are work on seat...
-
Splendid seat anyway...
-
Ha ha :)) :)) :)) Hardly wait to see your rivet tool and rivets on this, also wires in wheel bay. ;)
Seat is great!!! :-clap What you use for seat belts? Is this left seat have scratchbuild belts and pads or it is OOB? :-think Also red wire on headrest...? :-think
-
Thank you friends :) All seat are converted from spare seat belt in my box, wire is real wire and also used Albion Alloys tubes
-
:-ok Looking excellent!! Go ahead! :-tri
-
Silver at bottom
-
Finale paint or some primer or some preparation for rivets? :-think
-
Not good rivets, to fine, can not be seen under even thin coat of paint. No idea of solution
-
All right mate. :-ok
And wires in wheel bay? :-think
-

-
Aouch...
-
Oh, my.... I just had that happen on an automotive subject....
-
.... brothers in pain :(
-
I put the auto back in its box and on the shelf. Repair can wait for later......!
-
I must make this soon, this is for review... :(
-
I thought so......but you'll get through the problem, I know! :-ok
-
Some later today I will visit some local shops and see for something what etching and extremely strong adhere to surface. Hope to continue tomorrow...
-
Hmmm.....would a light coat of lacquer-based primer adhere strongly enough as a base? I use this method on my resin projects with (almost always) good results.
-
I repair it somehow :)
-
:-tri :-clap
-
Look very nice mate! :-clap :-clap
-
Thank ou friends :-ok
-
Good!!!
-
:))
-
Some little peel of problems are present but kit progress somehow :)
-
Good to see progress, but wish the lifting paint would stop!
-
With Mr. Surfacer there will not be problems like that ;) Lightning will look great :))
-
Strange problem. Perheaps the quality of the plastic of the kit can be responsible for that?
-
I don't know, plastic is good. Maybe black coat I use as base or something else. But I am back on old good materials and this will not happen again
-
Look good anyway... ;) :-clap
-
Thank you :)) Little decals work, more need to be make, many small decals need to be placed.
-
