Rafale C (Hobbyboss 1/72)
« on: April 01, 2013, 03:05:34 PM »
Having definitively abandoned the Breguet, I have some time to spend for one of the projects I have since a long moment: a Rafale C in "what-if" version.

Kit Hobbyboss is very nice... I will also use Eduard PE zoom set.

Nice job in cockpit. Can't wait to see it painted! :-clap

One question. Can you compare this kit with drawings, just to we all see is this kit correct or not? :-think :-flo

I have no drawings of the Rafale; I must say that for this build it's not too important for me that the dimensions will match perfectly... My goal is simply to have fun ;)

Hi mates, :-salut

I have this model in progress for a long time... In paralell with the Rafale B. There are many inaccuracies such as the canard surfaces which are too small with their axle at the wrong location. Missile racks (wing tips) are wrong and the twist of the wing is not good. I hesitate to correct all these details and it's the reason why these kits are waiting for completion...
