New project: Renard Epervier (full scratch)
« on: April 20, 2017, 08:24:51 PM »
Soon, I will start a new and totally crazy project...

Hope to begin at last during july 2017!

I've put all my "in progress" builds back on the stash. Only one "conventional" build will be made in parallel with the current project.

I think I'm definitively crazy...  :-danger :-danger :-danger

Don't ask me how I did that (it's confidential) but I obtained the drawings of the aircraft.

First task was to organize all the drawings. Now it's the begin of the translation of the datas.
I'm doing that at 1/32, 1/48, 1/72, 1/144. That can be useful...

I don't know if I will come to the end of that project, but it's a nice challenge!

I've finished all the cotes of the altitude aileron (4). Then I've drawing the cotes on millimetric paper (5) and glued that on 0.5mm Evergreen (6).
With my X-acto blade I've cut the parts (7)
...First mistake; fortunately discovered before to go further: I completely forgot totake into account the thickness of the Evergreen!
So I've changed my mind; no internal nervures, just plain plastic (8 & 9).
The parts are glued together; fitting is quite good (10 & 11)
Now some putty is needed...

Very ambitious project.  Are those radio control plans?
