Indi's German biplane

This is a funny conversion of the Stampe SV4: in the Indiana Jones movies, there is a sequence with a "german biplane" that is, in fact, an SV4-C slightly modified to be hanged to a Zeppelin.
RetrokiT realised a resin conversion set for Indi's plane (including a decal sheet). There is no need for big surgery in fact; just to replace some parts of the SV4 kit by the one in resin.
I've begun setting the "cockpits element" in place... Last photo shows you the resin elements.

Great idea for a conversion! I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen Harrison Ford and Sean Connery in resin!!

Today I've applied putty (Perfect Plastic Putty and AK Grey putty). I've also assembled the engine cowler (9 parts); just added a filter and a piece of Evergreen to reinforce the placement of the engine exhausts; of cours putty was also needed for the cowler...

All the parts are removed from plastic sprue and resin carrots. Putty sanded.
Time to think about how to process now...  :))
