First at all to take a look inside box of kit. As you can see, there is not much parts at all and all parts are very nicely mold. Basic kit included plastic parts as well etched set but I will upgrade kit with Brassin set's which I get some time before. Interesting that Brassin set's are relased before the same kit was available.

Work on air brakes :)

Good looking items!!!
-
Splendid kit I must say!
And very good start my friend!

Thank you friends, I hope I will continue tomorrow ;)

Today I was in good mood for work and air brakes progress rapidly :)) To regret they are not perfect match in shape but nothing critical ;)
-
Sounds like a very complete kit anyway...
-
Nice new project!
-
You are right mate, even the basic plastic kit is excellent! Thank you Akinator, I hope I will complete this soon and start another one ;)
-
Work on cockpit started, parts are removed from their base and painted in basic grey color

Work on cockpit :))
-
More assembly and this is it for today. More progress tomorrow afternoon
-
Little work today, focus on front fuselage.
-
For now I have completed work on cockpit, few details remained and I will do that at the very end of the build. Now next step- open flaps on wings and replacing them with etched parts.
-
Those flaps look complicated, but we know how well they are designed! Can't wait to see these assembled!
-
Good think is that they are all connected and will bent as one piece. I start engraving before cut into the flaps lines, hope I will finish this late today.
-
Built in wing flaps box and wings cemented on fuselage :))
-
Progress to the last set of etched parts ;) This include work on landing gear.
-
Really gooooooooood!

Now the painting small areas on the kit, first at all black walk area and then will go with different metal shades and finish with red nose.
-
Black is nice. Used pure or mixed with another color?
Personnally, I use a mix of black with a little bit of dark grey... So it's always possible to darken the "black"
-
This is Gunze Tire Black, my favorite Black color
-
Thank you for your answer ;)
