Thanks, everyone! :-flo

Sall, I might enter this in a contest, but it's also fun to sometimes put such things on the "display only" table just for the fun of showing it to other modelers. My competition modeling years were fun but not really relaxing as building currently is. This kit was good practice for the SAAB B17.

I say go for it!  The model turned out great and your scratchbuilding and modifications are impressive as always.  Rather than spending months on it building it specifically for competition and agonizing over every little detail you built it for fun, if it doesn't win anything in the contest then it wouldn't be a huge letdown.  Easy for me to say that from here though.   :)

Thanks to everyone!

I pulled my very old (built soon after I got my first airbrush) Monogram model down and dusted it off for a comparison photo. I should give this one a coat of flat varnish!

Monogram's Me 262 is perhaps the best replica of this plane...

I built the Monogram kit so many years ago, but I still remember it was a very nice model to construct. Having built this Tamiya offering I feel that I've experienced two really nice kits--one built in 1978 and one this year!

Hi mates,

I don't know if you have the same feeling when you put together an old model and your last model, and compare them!! For me, it is very special to see the skills that I had and now. Related of this, I remember what I was doing in my life when I did an old model. I like to do this exercise making a timeline enjoying all related in my surroundings with builing models.

By other hand, Monogram has a great shape in his old models, you can compare them vs. Tamiya or Hasegawa and get a surprise!!

Two thumps up!! Scott.

Right noted mate :-ok I remember long time ago when I have seen Monogram instructions, they include data of the resources and all resources present official engineering material :)) So absolute correct in shape ;)
