Creeping forward slowly on this, I installed the tailwheel strut and doors last evening. The wheel and fork were temporarily installed on the strut for this photo but will not be permanently attached until the end--I'd break it off otherwise!

I'm slowly running out of parts to install on this project. Last night I was able to add the main landing gear as you see here, and a few more small details were assembled today. Really all that remains now is the hinged canopy section, antenna and a couple more tiny bits.

Here are a few photos of the wheelwells/cockpit tub, Sall. The primary structure is from the Tamiya kit with some parts modified and moved around. Yellow wiring is from my wire collection. The strut wells and doors are scratchbuilt, as shown earlier. The landing gear struts and actuators are from a variety of Scale Aircraft Conversion landing gear upgrade sets, also modified as needed to fit the needs of V 3. The hydraulic and brake lines are small diameter black wire.

Glad to help, Sall. :-flo

Now I ask you folks to give the finished model your critiques and criticisms as there is a small chance I might enter it into a contest. I have left the contest modeling to other builders for many years now but I might display this one in the spring at a show in Dallas, Texas.
