Thank you!

It's funny when you encounter problems that you can resolve... ;)

This looks wonderful!

I sometimes wish Supermarine hadn't put that door in the fuselage. It makes for more work, doesn't it!!!!

Thank you!

Well, the Spitfire XVI is finished now, but it was very laborious!!!

First, I have airbrushed Pébéo matt varnish this morning. Then on the afternoon, weathering with pastels, pigments and ink.

I'm not happy. It's a bad kit. Today, I encountered the following problems before to finish:
- Due to the bad plastic (very granulous), the transparent decals have silvering. I've tried to limit the effect but was not fully successful for the wings.
- The Pitot tube in PE sprong out of my hands. He had a point of cyano of it. Never recovered the part; I had to use the bad pitot of the kit as replacement part...
- The wheel tail broked in the process
- Gluing the radiators, I had to constate that there are not fitting well! Too late to correct that problem...
- Bad fitting of the windshield that needed for some paint correction
- The wheels legs are bad!!! There are "inverted"; I had to correct that.

At leats four times I had the intention to knock the kit and put it in my trashcan...

I'm just happy with my weathering and the fact that I'm stubborn: without that default, the kit would have been condamned.

I have better hope for the Tamiya Spitfire V...

I am sure that you could perfect this kit but this look fine to me :) Sometimes things does not goes as we want, even when we try our best. This is great work anyway and I am sure next one will be also great and bring you pleasure :-ok
