Thank you!

Well, the MK XVI is not finished yet, but I'm beginning a new Spitfire (build is made for a group build on a Belgian Dutch-speaking forum): Spitfire MK.V from Tamiya at 1/72 scale...
From the box, with the décals from Syhart for a Belgian Spit of the 350th Sqn...

And of course, work is continuing on the MK.XVI: preparation before airbrushing the position lights

Long time ago I have used Parafilm for large area protection :)

Parafilm... Never tried...

Well, after having airbrushed Pébéo gloss varnish this afternoon, I have placed all the decals this evening.

...What a desagreable surprise: the codes for my aircraft (often represented by a drawing in the decals notice) are not present!!! I needed for "TD" code, and it was not included... I had to solution that problem and finally, for the underwings codes, the "D" was missing. I used a "H" and a "0" to make a "D"; and for the fuselage where the "T" was missing, I used a "L" and a "E" to create the "T"...

Another problem to solve was: why by the hell did I made the aircraft with the door open??? That obliged me to cut the "MN" code before placing it... And that obliged me to temporarily remove the maskings of the cockpit...

Other than all those problems, all was fine...  :-bat
