Here's my current collection of 1/48 Spits. I don't think I'll be working on any more Spitfires for a while (I've run out of kits.....but I would like to do a Mk. I and a Griffon machine at some point). ;)

The Soviet machine is the Hasegawa Vb, the Seafire conversion is the Tamiya Vb, the Mk IX is from ICM, and the Australian Mk VIII is a 1980s build of the Otaki kit.

I'm back in that GB!!!

Well, I'm not sure that I will have nice result with all the inserts in the cockpit of the MK II... I'm wondering if it is really a need when you build a 1/72 aircrft with a little cockpit!
So, I have bought another kit and started the work on it. This one will be made quasi out of the box, except of course the modifications needed to transform a Spit I into a Spit II...

First photo depicts all the parts needed for the transformation; and the second one the beginning of the work.
