KDA-1 (Q-2A) Firebee (ICM 1/48)

The Firebee is an American drone dating from 50s/60s. ICM released that strange bird at 1/48th scale. Few parts but very nice

The trailer is painted in yellow. For the first time I used Scalecolor Artist paint ; first impression is very good. For other parts I used AK Acrylics 3D metal paints

Funny work this morning, applied rust with sponge on the trailer. AK 3D Acrylics used.

Sponge is best for such effects, years ago I also use it for leather effects and it work fine.
