I like this busy cockpits in Eduard MiG-21. Eduard did great job for every version of MiG-21 they released. ;)

Before work on Wednesday I managed to get the landing gear finished and most of the small bits installed. Then I fabricated a set of vanes for the pitot tube from .005 plastic sheet and glued them to the tube.

Good detail mate. I have download last night assembly leaflet and realize that Eduard does not give some details to Weekend Edition kits

Yes, without the PE there are some things to scratchbuild. If you use the instrument panel and side console decals there are a couple of small plastic pieces that must be scratchbuilt but they are very simple to fabricate.

 When I planned my project the Weekend Edition was on sale and the Eduard PE for the Academy kit was on sale later. I saved a bunch of money and the PE fit the Eduard kit very nicely. Also you're limited to one decal option with the Weekend Edition. I wanted to build a DDR airplane anyway, so it worked out great for me. When I build my next one I'll probably spend the extra money for the ProfiPACK version (especially if that F13 is ever produced :-love).
