Yes, there was a plan, but it's been too long for me to remember...! I have to go back into the project box to see what I had decided on.

I've refreshed my memory on this Yak project and carried on with painting. First the underside painting of two projects, this Yak-7 and the Fw 190 D-11 that has been sitting around half-finished also:

Here is the final product of this latest build. Yak 7A mostly built out-of-box and with the ICM kit decals. Finished before January 1!

Again, this is pretty much out-of-box ICM kit with kit decals for the most part. This Yak-9K really does look like a tank-killer with that huge 45 MM cannon sticking out of the spinner!
