That is looking very nice, No.1! I especially like the fit you obtained with the side cowlings.
I've decided I liked doing the first one so much that the trainer should be started:

The -7V has a small bit more cockpit detail than the -9 has, including the nice structural basket as separate parts. One helpful hint for anyone building the fixed-gear trainer--install the landing gear well covers
before you glue the upper wing panels on. I didn't do this and it is making the fitment of the covers a little bit more difficult.

This kit isn't very high-tech but I still think it will be a nice display model with some extra work. It's typical of the short-run LTD kits, and since I have sucessfully built two other kits from this manufacturer, I decided to attack this one now.
