This is very interesting and new kit of I-16. my basic comparing show it is very correct. Kit is so easy to built, as well all kit of this plane ;)
-
Interesting so far! I see they molded the floor correctly and the bottom of the wing and wheelwells will be seen.
-
Yes, they did good work and build is easy. There is options with elements so more variants can be made

I forget to say- I work sample machine from 975 IAP, Kuban, summer 1943. Few pilots flew on it and it is interesting to have replaced some parts of airframe (windshield from trainer version as well rudder from other plane). It also have peel of paint, somewhere will be visible bar metal and somewhere wood primer.
-
Blue down under :)) As well paints scratch ;)
-
Decals applied as well first coat of dirt. I try to match ground in area of Kuban... not easy
-
Kit looks very fine and it's great to see you using some new products. Interresting! ;)

-

Thank you :))

And now... windshield is from trainer version and it differ much from fighter version. So I have to make it and there I will use my experience from time when I work as composite structure craftsman. First at all- tape over the surface. it is use to divide epoxy filler from surface but in same time to match its contour. I use filler as you see, reason is that it is only I have, in the moment I have no idea which one is best suitable for that purpose.

Sounds like a good concurrent for Eduard...
-
It is- definitely!!!
