Here’s one modified earlier work. It’s Heller’s 1/72 F6F Hellcat in night camouflage. If I can recall well, plastic was very soft, without flash, fit was well, decals were good.
Raised panel lines were slightly sanded. Originally, it was painted from the spray can in a dark blue glossy scheme. Recently, I decided to give it a matt coat, which gives finally a satin finish to the model. In such a small scale as 1/72, it looks much more realistic than glossy, which looks more plastic and like a toy.
Cat from hell :-evil is one of my most favorite planes, mighty and sturdy.
