Like it a lot. The shiny surface with specs of colour looks verry atractive.

Thanks, guys--here is a shot of the cockpit with the seat installed and continuing forward with all the little bits and parts. I need to finish this one to make room for its huge brother, the F-105 that I've started.

I'd hoped to finish decaling the Lead Sled last night but had a minor "disaster"....... :-danger

Note to self: Oily finger makes fingerprint on Metalizer finishes........ :-wall :-wall :-wall

So, one wing needed some repair work, which I just finished. The use of Metalizer is great but once in a while the builder does something stupid. :-red No photo of the damage as I was too angry with my stupidity to take one. On the positive side, it's really easy to repair such mistakes by careful masking and reapplying the appropriate shade, then repolishing it to the right sheen. As No.1 once said, there is always something that happens with every project!

Now that the debacle of the fingerprint is behind me I flipped the airplane over and finished installing the SAC landing gear set. The only real painting on these was to paint the chrome part of the cylinder with Chrome Silver enamel and a bit of black on the flexible brake line section. The tires/wheels are out of the Monogram kit.
