I see Revell did a nice job on the aft deck details. Good progress on your side. Perhaps I can find a little time to devote to my G soon--it has gotten pushed back for other missions.......

I'm not sure I have fully understand your question...

For me best way to go is to paint the part, then to place it undr the hood and to avoid that paint will go on that part, to use sponge...

I've been wondering about the sliding canopy framing also. Here's an idea--I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it will work. How about cutting white automotive pinstriping into the right thickness strips and applying them to the internal framing? I don't know how this would look from the outside, though.
