My opinion is that it have to stay semi covering, real paints was like that. But this is just mu through ;)

One step behind...

Funny how different lights can reveal something or not. Yesterday (artificial light) I was happy with my work. Today (day light)... Not at all. The joint between the half-fuselages was visible at some points. Cannot live with that...

Now I've used Mr Surfacer 500. Hope that all will be OK...

That's why I paint over filled part with MM metalizer, it shows flaws under any kind of light... No worry, I believe Surfacer will solve it.

White primer sprayed on the fuselage and on the propeller, then Vallejo Wood as a base...
