I delay start of this build for a month and it is final moment to start work on it. Toooooooo many parts there and this will be pleasure when see it completed!!
-
You will be busy!!
-
No doubt my friend ;) And final scheme will be great :))
-
Great kit, great stuff, but amount of work... You're right to begin now, without me... To much workbenches; but I hope to begin mine in may...
-
Can't wait to see it finished! :-clap
Belgian? :))
-
Thank you :)) USAF

First step at all is quick markings of frets, to make faster search. As standard, some parts need to be trim as well this area will receive some of Eduard etched parts for more detailed look. Rear cockpit plate is the first on to be converted in this way and one important work is to cover hole with filler. After that part is cemented on the rear side of the cockpit hub and few more parts have been placed, such as pilot control stick and control on the left side. Another part need to be converted is the leg controls, they get foot step area in etched and they look much better. Only problem is that this will be deep inside and hardly that we can be able to see it once when kit get completed.
Instrument board need sanding all areas to receive etched boards and only part I place is this front cover, it will be painted in the interior color. Rest of images show assembly of the cockpit and assembly of the central intake section, this one is important as well there will be landing gear later.

-
Looks nice anyway...
-

-
Thank you friends, I will try to continue today ;)
-
I like this camouflage!! :-clap :-clap :-tri
-
New airbrush help me to complete light blue.
-
:-ok
-
Excellent!! :-clap :-clap
What happened to the old one? :-think
-
Old one is still perfect but can not work with Humbrol paints, too fine nozzle. This one is more suitable
-
I have had the same problem with my Paasche fine tip and Humbrol enamels. I have to use the bigger tip or it will not flow smoothly.
The paint scheme is really fantastic! So much more interesting than the normal greys.
-
Glad to hear that everything is ok! :-ok
I agree with Scott about camouflage! :-ok
-
Nice occasion to test Tessa tape and I am impressed with its working properties! This is what we need! And the rest you see is the progress on the bottom of the F-16, I hope I will continue soon.
-
Really interresting!!!
-
I like this my friend! :-clap
-
Thank you :))
-
And this tape doesn't leave adhesive like the low-sticky 3M tape, does it?
-
No my friend but the point is in material, it is paper (rice paper) and I can trace contour over it for precise shape cut and easy bent to curved surface. Every tape leave adhesive if you expose it to direct sun light or if it is older. 3M tape is very valuable and I continue use... ;)
-
Finally painted :))
-
Excellent!!! :-ok
-
Thank you :))
-
:-ok :-ok :-ok

Decals today :)) But this is still much away from complete... :-dal
-
Somtimes this stage is really time consuming...
-
In this case not as well there is very little number of decals available, I guess after airplane was painted over that service labels was not painted again, only unit and national markings
