Hello Nico,

I'm sorry but I don't agree. The propeller of Airfix's BV 141 B doesn't rotate in the incorrect way. But I must admit that there is no security to avoid building it on the wrong side. But the shape of the blades is a clue.
Here is mine built about at the same time as yours (Maybe in 1971) :

Nowadays more documentation has been published and I don't understand that famous manufacturer as Trumpeter makes this mistake...

30 years ago a minimum of accessible documentation did exist and a complete two-part article had been published in "Flying Review" (July and August 1964) which helped me to build this 1/72 scale kit. I used this aricle to build a second one with all possible details :

I should like too that a manufacturer issue a BV 141 A prototype.

The reason is- advisory of the manufacturers are self proclaimed experts, in general modelers, who promote them self as top authority. I don't know is this situation with Trumpeter, I have never seen any of their kits but I know for sure for other manufacturers. Last few years I get demands to deliver without question archive material I have and off course, I refuse. As you can see, I even stop making drawings (and few more draftsman give up from this job) as well I don't want to provide valuable info for free.

Hi mate,

Some of Trumpeter's kits, upon shapes and volumes, are very good, others are medium or bad quality such as the F-100 Super Sabre in 1/48 scale (medium with several improvements to be done) and the F-107 (very bad with a majority of inaccuracies although good documentaion does exist...)
I agree with you for not providing info for free. Personally, I stopped this process for several months ...

I've controlled the parts of Airfix's BV 141 B.
The propeller rotates in the right way but the blades have their leading edge at the place of the trailing edge... They must be turned 180° to be perfect. I don't remember having made this operation 40 years ago... Their outline too is inaccurate.
