Waco CSO/-240 - Brazilian Military Aviation
« on: February 18, 2012, 02:16:12 AM »
Hi guys!!!

I finished this kit a few days before New Year's Eve. It's from a brazilian cottage manufacturer called Commando5. Easy to build, but not without its challenges. I loved it.

Did I mention I'm a Waco fan? :-love

Thanks Ernie, it was a great experience after so many years without building a resin kit.

Thank you! Does Commando5 have a web site or way of ordering their kits online?

Hi Ernie,

They used to have an e-mail address to get in touch with them. If I recall correctly it was the owner's e-mail, intbrig@yahoo.com.br. Also commando5@commando5.com.br would do.

I believe they've been out of business for some time now. But they had lovely airplanes used in Brasil, like this Waco, the Vultee VG-11 in several options, Gloster Meteors and some 1/35 wheeled vehicles.

Thanks Draken!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Sall. Don't worry about working solely on jets. There are some very interesting designs out there. Personaly, I find the Embraer AMX, Soko and Saab jets to be absolutely charming arplanes.

Have a great weekend!
