Night-fighting in a Bf109 took giant amounts of piloting skill! It'll be good to see this one as you start the build.

Here is preparing some sets for built in. To regret, exhaust can be used with engine only, so it will not be used on this build.

Hmmm……, could you make a small box inside the cowling to glue the exhausts to? Just an idea since they are so very lovely looking!
