Also, I could be farther along with the Messerschmitt and Convair projects but I've also been working on this--the transmission on our old Jetta is acting up and I must replace all the shifting solenoids.

This project is now at the painting phase, slowly but surely.....

Since there are so many interesting markings choices on the decal sheet I ended up flipping a coin between my two favorites. I'll build the other favorite choice with the next one.

It's going VERY slowly, but here is the finished mottling, my favorite part of painting a Luftwaffe airplane!

Thanks for the encouragement, mates--here are a few photos of the finished G-12.
I must say the old kit decals worked wonderfully with one exception. The registration letters under the 27 were actually smaller than the ones that come in the kit so I dug out my sheets of German letters and substituted.

Thank you! It was a fun distraction to build this one and I still have another canopy and other trainer-specific parts for another. Perhaps the second one I'll use an Eduard kit.
