Here is the first "new-build" of 2014 for me, the Airfix Emil that is so familiar to me. This one is out-of-box except for brake lines. The Croatian coat of arms and red 2s are from the same Aviation USK sheet as my earlier Royal Yugoslavian Bf 109E and the other decals came from the Airfix sheet and spares box. This one represents a machine of 15.(Kroat)/JG52. These had the factory paint oversprayed in the field with RLM 75 overall and 74 squiggling.

I reckon it is time to add another build to this thread six months later......

This is the Revell G-10 premium edition I picked up recently, more for the decal sheet than the actual kit. However, I didn't see any reason to waste the plastic parts and I felt the need to relax on a familiar project. This one will be in WNF Diana camouflage when finished.

Yes, 1/48 scale. I built a lot of them modified in different versions. It's a good base but to perfection the engine-cowlings must be improved.

Here are my Revell-based G-10s and K-4s. They are all old builds apart from the Erla's K-4 which was built in August 2012.

1) Genuine Revell kit without modifications. It's a WNF model of II./JG 52 :

Well, I didn't think it would be this long between updates......but here is a quick painting update. The principal colors are now sprayed and next will be the fuselage mottling, probably to be completed this weekend:
