The prototype is now ready to place on display. Now that it's complete it felt right to photograph the very first Bf 109 with one of its last siblings. Hard to believe this one design could stay in production for so many years!

Now that I've finished this first prototype I probably have at least one airplane from every important variation with the exception of the H. Someday I'll do a "family photo".

To add the "last" German-built version to the V-1 "first" version, I finished assembling this Hasegawa K that has been partially built for a year or so. I really like building the Hasegawa 109s and I wish they weren't so expensive! (relatively speaking)
