Yes, I used Scotch tape in this instance. If the decals are even more stubborn, the clear packaging tape (for binding boxes etc.) has even stronger adhesive but it lifts paint sometimes! This one had only flat clear varnish over the decals so they came away pretty easily.

 They are hand made but not by me, made in Czech republic from Petr Dousek and called "Rosie the Riveter" :-salut :-salut :-salut

I've finished "updating" this late G in new markings. For those who may not know, Jicehem pointed out that I'd incorrectly painted this one. :-red I either needed to update the cowling or change markings. Obviously the latter is easier! Also, I had been wanting this new scheme on my shelf anyway....... Here's the original build--JC pointed out the photo of this airplane and it has the smoother bulged cowling of a G-6AS.

It was pretty easy to update this with some extra camo and new recognition markings. In fact, I did it pretty much the same way as the ground crews did it--simply painted over the Luftwaffe markings and applied the new ones! ;) The Romanian roundels and numerals came from my spares box, as usual.

And, I still have the decals to do the original Yellow 5, but I'll apply them to the correct kit next time! :-ok
